Yes! Finally they are out! Ok I am late, well, very late. But I have been busy, and we at ISPN have more important work =P.

Hit Read More for Videos and Photos and more!So First I want to state that most of the highlight videos are going to be from the Fairfield team since, well, their was too many games going on for me to be getting film on them all. I saw another camera that day, if someone has already posted that up on youtube, give me the link so I can throw that up here or have the person get in touch with me if they need help posting it up.

After the main games where over we had some local kids who wanted to take us on. So we had a “All Star Game” against them. I turned down the quality on the videos and was just messing around =P

FOOTBALL SATURDAY REDUX!

So after a sprained ACL and some sprained egos we got week two of our preseason turkey bowl game. This is the pictures of the first game as after this most people did not want photos but videos =| Next week I hope to provide a better mix. This is a learning experience for me as well as I dont take sport pics so if you dont see yourself or they are blurry, deal with it =P

Again I want to warn, some of the photos are blurry and again the photos are very few and of the first two games, most stuff is video and that takes a while to edit it and put it together. FOOTBALL SATURDAY! Islamic Center style!

While most people are watching college football on Saturdays, we are out playing it. Well ok so we are not up to the level of college football, but, its a lot more healthy and fun then staying home all day watching TV. So after getting invited by Humza and Kasim to come out and play O-Line and D-Line I thought I should bring the camera and make a blog post!

It was a great game, tho some guys were maybe getting too “passionate” (you know who you are) and a few tempers started to flare near the end of the day. We need to stop that for the next game, we are all Muslims playing so we dont need name callings or fighting. Pumped up is great, fighting is not. Also someone needs to write down the rules, because damn they kept changing the whole game. Maybe setting up a blog just for the games (I know last year their was one for the volleyball games during Ramadan) would be a good idea.
Well thats me for talking, also, i need to find a new camera guy =| The Photos are ok and someone left the camera in Video mode so I have a bunch of video of the floor of people talking.

49ers lack of draft talent during the Nolan Era

Note: This is in response to an article by Matt Maiocco, which I would love to leave a comment on but it seems his new blog wont accpet new user accounts and the openID system is broken. Its not just the lack of 1st round talent on the 49ers that is lacking, but if you look overall at all the rounds of the drafts and they all have come up short. We have had a few guys standout, Gore is the one most point too, but just take a look at our starting players and you will see the guys that made any impact are going to be FA pickups outside of the O-Line and LB. And its not like the O-Line has been playing great or the OLB been able to produce presure (MLBs with Spike and Willis are set but again we have had a hard time finding someone to pair with Willis fo a while). For someone that talked about building thru the draft what we have seen instead is a team built with other team rejects FA with a few high price FA mixed in with a draft class that never lived up to hype. I am worried that this team is still in need of roster mix up, and I dont know if Nolan and company are willing to do that.
